Position Title: TUCB A/V Technician
Hours: 2 hours each Sunday (additional hours as available for funerals, weddings, and rentals)
Compensation: $20/hour
Overview:
The TUCB A/V Technician ensures that all audio-visual and livestream elements run smoothly during worship services and other events. This role supports volunteers, manages equipment, and maintains a reliable and welcoming technical environment for the congregation and online participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Sunday Worship Duties (weekly):
- Turn on all technical equipment, including projectors, sound board, computer, choir speakers, and television.
- Set up microphones as needed, check batteries, and test all audio inputs.
- Run OBS for the Sunday livestream.
- Schedule the weekly livestream on YouTube, ensuring the thumbnail and details are accurate.
- Test the PowerPoint presentation, videos and other media.
- Provide assistance to the PowerPoint volunteer as needed during the service.
- Power down and properly turn off all equipment at the end of the service.
Ongoing & Occasional Duties:
- Provide technical support for funerals, weddings, and facility rentals when available.
- Quarterly: remove outdated recordings and PowerPoint files to maintain organized storage and system efficiency.
Accountability:
The TUCB A/V Technician shall be accountable to the Minister and Ministry and Personnel Committee.
