Her Home is a Tent is a project with four goals:
- Shine a massive spotlight on poverty and homelessness in Lincoln, and, the rest of Ontario
- Inform government(s) of the increased and uncontrollable need for basic life-assistance, through a petition, email, and letter-writing campaigns
- Host a public panel discussion with Lincoln stakeholders and government representatives aimed to publicly recognize the need for increased assistance. Follow up regularly for solution planning.
- Create a team, and, find funding, for providing a monthly restaurant-style, sit-down dinner, to be set up in partnership with local agencies, grocery stores and churches. Social services and assistance would be available for those who require these.
